Baby Hammock: Can I wash my baby hammock?Updated 3 months ago

The Moonboon hammock may be washed by hand at just over 40 degrees C / 100 degrees F. We do not recommend machine washing as the metal ring of the hammock may cause damage to your washing machine. 

The internal kapok mattress does not tolerate being laundered, but it benefits from being aired outdoors once a month or so. Kapok is a hypoallergenic and breathable natural fiber that would be degraded if washed. We recommend that you clean minor stains by rubbing a small amount of soap and water on them.  

To protect your baby hammock and your kapok mattress, we recommend you purchase a waterproof mattress protector, which will help extend the lifespan of your mattress.
